Their newly announced rule sets essential standards to ensure safe and respectful assistance for passengers who use wheelchairs or need additional support.

These long-overdue protections require airlines to provide mandatory hands-on training for staff, ensure prompt assistance during boarding and deplaning, and offer accommodations in cases of lost or damaged mobility devices.
